Should report to Reception before parking up in Car Park 3. There is no charge for
this. Velodrome facilities may be used during opening times.
There will be no rider access to the velodrome before 12noon on Thursday 11th November
Limited cold food, tea, coffee etc will be available to purchase in the track centre
from the Newport Velodrome Official caterers. There is a Morrisons supermarket close
by where provisions may be obtained. Morrisons also have a restaurant for hot food.
There is a Tesco superstore a little further away.
Rider’s helpers and friends may join them in the track centre free of charge. There
is no limit to the number of friends and helpers per rider, but please use common
sense when inviting friends into the track centre. Friends may be required to leave
the track centre at the request of either the venue management or a British Cycling
Spectators may sit in the stands to watch, free of charge.
There are a limited number of chairs in the Track Centre. Riders may wish to bring
there own camping/fold up chairs.
Rider’s equipment may be left in the track centre during the championships at no
charge, but on the understanding that it is at the rider’s own risk. Riders are
advised to secure their equipment when left unattended either during the day, or
TRACK WARM UP
Track warm up time is limited to one hour before the the start of the daily session.
Once the racing begins then there will be no further track time available and ‘warm
ups’ should be in the track centre warm up area and on your own rollers and/or turbo

SIGN ON and ACCREDITATION
On your first day of competition you must sign the general Signing On sheet and hand
in your licence. In return you will be given your race number. This does not have
to be returned at the end of the championships, but you must not forget to collect
your licence before you leave at the end of your last race.
Each day that you compete at the championships you must also sign on for the championship
race that day. This must be done by the time indicated on the Order of Events above.
Bikes must be compliant and will be checked. Please allow time for this in your
Please print off and bring the Programme of Events with you as you will not be issued
with a printed programme on the day, however, Schedules and Communiques will be posted
adjacent to the Sign On/Accreditation desk throughout the championships.
Medal Ceremonies will be held throughout the championships. Please be ready for
these if you are placed in the first 3 of any Final. You should present yourself
for the ceremony in your club or team’s racing kit - not jeans and tee shirts! Headgear,
sun glasses and other product placements are not allowed.
WORLD Best Times (RECORDS)
If you wish to claim a UCI World Best time you will need to take a UKAD test. Attendance
fees and costs for the UKAD testing personnel are covered by the organisation but
the cost of the test is to be bourne by the claimant. (To Be Confirmed)
MASSAGE and REMEDIAL THERAPY
The Official Event Masseuse is Cheryl Owens who will be available to provide pre
and post race treatments.
No other persons will be allowed to set up , treat or offer treatment services in
the track centre with or without payment, without prior permission and providing
recognised proof of competence and insurance cover.
No display, or offers for sale, of any goods, cycling related or otherwise, is permitted
in the track centre by any person, commercial concern or business without prior permission.
